I think if a 5.8 server came out it would not be that successful despite it being a fairly decent patch because 90% of the player base will only be doing luna due to the tempering/omega stones you get from it being the major progression path.
Most no longer want to play with others they want to do events/get there gear and just play solo which mind boggles me but it is what it is. Not a fan of this at all but at least it is unique and it kinda aligns with the general playerbase of Aion. Do character contest and housing contest. Don't deny any skins request just because it can farm hard way in game. Don't make weekend exp buff everyday should be playable day not just weekend. Make sure free players can vote and get shop coins. No one appreciated forced group instance it's much better if everyone can enjoy solo version of instance then being force to play with rude and bad players./Group version still existed with higher droprate and more exp.(Do not share cooldown) 5.8 is not horrible at this point you need to modify luna no exp there and list of customize skins that's not included in original luna also disable bracelet. Location of server is important too if you want English speakers in your server but your server located in Moscow it probably no English speakers wanna play there.
If your server has p2w make sure baseline players get stuff via event too I mean events that accessing by everyone not just pvp or hunt treasure in pvp zone.

We sicked of euroaion unable to update the game because they ain't coders. You need to be a coder to update the server and customize it. A lot of 4.6 servers said no p2w yet they selling manastone feli which is totally p2w.
Don't obsessed with no p2w it's probably fail advertisement at this point. First do not create 4.6 server we had enough of it there're too many of that if you started a 4.6 server it probably fail instantly.
